4th of July

Lake Hebkin...

We camped at a lake outside of West Yellowstone called Hebkin Lake. My dad brought his ski boat and so we had fun swimming and tubing while there. Here are some random camp pictures.

Lewis & Clark Caverns...

While camping with the family in July in Montana, we also went to the Caverns. Everyone, incuding the kids had a great time. Joey loves rocks and climbing, so he was in heaven I think.
Here are my parents, Joey, and I at the mouth of the caverns. Joey and Daddy sitting outside the caverns while the tour guide gave her talk.
My dad and Joey as well as various family members on their way down into the caverns. Its dark in there so that is why people have blank looks in the pictures. You can't see the person taking the picture until the flash goes off.

Joey hamming it up for the camera.

Some stalagmites...

The family. Once again, excuse the blank looks. :)

Joey and daddy in the cavern.

Joey and my mom climbing down stairs. Some of these were quite narrow and steep. It was fun and interesting with all the kids. There was even a spot where you had to slide down like a slide on the rocks. Like I said Joey was in love...

The hike back down to the parking lot area after coming out of the caverns.

Yellowstone National Park

So this July we went to Montana and met my grandparents for their 50th wedding anniversary will all their children and grandchildren. We went to Yellowstone, Lewis & Clark Caverns, and camped at Hebkin Lake. We had a lot of fun seeing all the family and being out camping.

Here are my grandparents with Joey.

Joey and his cousin Hannah, they are 2 weeks apart.

Old Faithful Geyser.

Joey and cousins hanging out.

My grandparents at the clay pots. It's very rare to get my grandma in pictures, so this is a great picture!

Sailboating with friends...

We went with our friends Mike and Karen on their sailboat and camped out at Lucky Peak overnight. It was a lot of fun, until Joey stepped on a stick which stabbed into the bottom of his foot. But after a two days of baths twice a day and antibiotics twice a day he was back to himself.

Visiting Great Grandma Ella!

Joe's Grandma Ella, Joey's Great Grandma lives in Mesquite Nevada. Joe's parents came down to Boise to visit and we all drove together to see Ella. We took a detour on the way and went to the Grand Canyon. Here are some pictures from the trip.

Watching the sunset in the canyon!

The next morning we went for a walk along the canyon and saw more in the daylight.

We also went into Las Vegas for a day to wander around and see some sights. We watched the water show at the Bellagio and Joey loved it.

And here is Great Grandma Ella and Joey.

Hello!

Hi Everyone! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything on my blog. We've had a very busy summer. We moved into our new house the 1st week of June. Everything is now put away in it's place for the most part and the walls are decorated. We managed to go camping a few times this summer, including a trip to Yellowstone National Park and the Lewis and Clark Caverns in Montana. I'm going to post some pictures from the summer and try to catch up. :) I also found out this July that the 2nd little Welker baby will be on it's way. I am due March 13th.

Here are some pictures from the fair this year, here in Boise.
