Joey's 2nd Birthday!

Joey is now 2 years old! He had his birthday on the 13th of December. A few neighbor boys and a few family members came over. He had fun opening presents, eating cake, and playing. Joey has been obsessed with Frosty the Snowman this holiday season. Between mommy, daddy, and titi Frosty is sung at least a dozen times daily. :) So we made a Frosty birthday cake!

Joey was more involved in opening and ripping into the presents this year. His friends at the party were also very involved... He has been having fun playing with all the new toys ever since. He received a basketball hoop which is a hit. As well as some fun little people toys, a plane and construction site, clothes, books, and curious george.

There was a fundraiser for the "Toys for Tots" here in Boise, where there was christmas music played, Santa was there for the kids, and then about 10-15 minutes of fireworks. It was cold, but lots of fun. This was our first time seeing fireworks while it's snowing outside.

Family Pictures

Joe, Joey, Jen, and I went to Ann Morrison Park recently and took some family pictures. I think we did pretty good considering they were all taken with the timer. It snowed the following day!

Gingerbread!

Joey, Jen, and I had some fun recently. We went to Kelly and Owen's house and build gingerbread houses and snowmen with some friends and their kids.

The kids didn't last long at the table though. It was much more fun to play with each other than build the houses. They would come and go helping themselves to candy and cookies. Amazingly there were no fights or fits.

Joey and Owen were found in Aaron's computer chair pushing buttons and playing on the computer. I wonder whose idea it was first? They were both pretty upset with me for turning off their "puter".

Michelle's daughter Morgan was a great helper, babysitting all the little ones!

Happy 28th Birthday Joe!

Joe turned 28 this year, November 8th. We had a lazy family day with bowling and a dinner out.

Trick or Treat!

Joey was a turtle this year for Halloween, while Jenny and I were 80's girls. We had fun out trick or treating, Joey loved all the decorations.

Carving Time!

Joey carved some of his own pumpkin, but he didn't really like the "guts". He would wrinkle his nose and "ucky". It was pretty funny!

Pumpkins!

Well we went to the "Pumpkin Patch" this year to pick out our pumkpins. Joey had lots of fun playing in the wagons, on the tractor, and jumping off the straw bales. It was a good time!
